Western Victorian
Painting for Life was started in Golden, Colorado, a town rich in heritage and brimming with the Western legends of the past. In the year of 1859, this part of the country experienced a boom, as gold was discovered in the hills of the Rocky Mountains. The city of Golden, residing right at the base of the foothills, was the perfect launching point for prospectors as they geared up with pick axes, shovels, pans and a belly full of grub. This time period was rich in dress, architecture and lore, and it is our desire to capture some of that feeling through historical recreation and landscape painting. Since childhood memories are also a big part of our focus, it seemed only appropriate to make one-room schoolhouse a significant part of this collection. On many occasions we have been approached by people, sporting a crown of silver on their heads, reminiscing about the time they once spent in a classroom not far removed from the ones in our paintings. We hope you enjoy stepping into another era.

Americana
This new collection is about our own childhood memories and the aspects of America that make this country great. By using storytelling through our illustrations, it is our desire to touch deep within the heart of every viewer and bring to mind a simpler time, a gentler time. We are not naïve about the hardships of life, we just choose not to focus on them.

Like a Child
We love children and we love the innocence of childhood. Both artists have an extensive background working with children and are also children's book illustrators. This collection is similar to Americana, except from the perspective of a child. The pieces in this collection are the perfect addition to any children's bedroom or playroom and make great generational gifts.

Stilllifes and Landscapes
The bread and butter of every artist is their stilllife and landscape collection. Many of these pieces were painted on location or live in the studio. All of the landscapes are from areas within Colorado, and are imbued with the Rocky Mountain spirit. These pieces are a great staple of beautiful decoration, and are generally less than the rest of the more complex collections.

Inspirational
This is the whole purpose behind what we do as artists. We love to depict the joy of life through our art, but we also love the paint the reason for life. We are eternally grateful for the opportunities we have been given, both in this country and through a renewed life through Christ. These pieces have provided great inspiration to us as we have created them and we hope that they will do the same for you as well. Fifty percent of the proceeds from the sales in this collection will go directly to charitiable hospitality organizations.
